Nobody says raising young children is ever easy, but the COVID-19 pandemic has made it harder on a lot of us. While parents are recovering from the effects of the lockdown, children are also going through their most developmental years that will shape their future in tandem with us.
These children were born and raised during the pandemic with minimal interactions with other children. Meanwhile, as parents, you have been trying your best to provide your children with the best foundation before they venture into primary school. And sometimes, we all need a little help from people who know what they’re doing.

We are really glad to hear about Puan Shaliha’s great experience with Little Caliphs Kalam Khalifah with all three of her children. InshaaAllah, our teachers are equipped with the knowledge and tools to help the children grow and develop according to their age and capabilities.
Alhamdulillah, our objective of shaping students who are able to understand and communicate effectively in Malay and English, as well as our goal of highlighting Islamic teachings to our students are successful. We strive to ensure that every student achieves this target.
At Kalam Khalifah, we want to go bigger and bigger every year! So we hold our annual Family Sports Festival at Taman Tengku Anis where every student from all 10 of our Little Caliphs branches can attend together with their family members. Everybody can participate in various sports competitions, walk around and buying foods and drinks, and take part in other activities provided. In 2024, this grand event had close to 2500 visitors throughout the day! Parents were especially delighted to watch their children perform onstage and be given the opportunity to create great memories with their children.
The spirit of The Little Daie Challenge is to take our 6 year old students to the big stage and showcase their talents in acting, singing and public speaking in English and even a little of Arabic. Their performances focus on spreading the message of Islam by tackling topics ranging from familial relationships and manners at school to global warming and what is happening in Palestine. It’s really amazing to watch these talented young children perform their hearts out in the front of the public at KB Mall!
Little Hajj is another cornerstone event of ours. All 6 year old students from 10 Little Caliphs Kalam Khalifah kindergartens gather at Balai Islam Lundang in their ihram clothing to experience an immersive Hajj simulation. This simulation includes wuquf, tawaf, sa’ie, mabit and jamrah complete with a replica of the holy Kaabah. Furthermore, student representatives have also been chosen to recite du’a and adhan, and deliver the khutbah. Little Hajj is one of the major events that separate Little Caliphs from other kindergartens in Malaysia!
Grand is certainly the right word to describe our Grand Annual Ihtifal. Held at the Grand Riverview Hotel, we celebrate our graduating 6 Years students’ academic excellence throughout their time at Little Caliphs Kalam Khalifah. Nine best students were chosen to give their heartwarming speeches and more students took the stage to showcase their talents through dikir barat, public speaking, nasyid, hafazan. Aside from the students, we also have teachers giving advices to the students through ‘pantun’ and ‘sajak.’ It is a day to remember for all students and their proud parents!
Our Year End Concert at MYDIN Mall Tunjong was a heartwarming celebration of family and community. With 520 Little Caliphs Kalam Khalifah students—from eager 4-year-olds to soon-to-graduate 6-year-olds—taking the stage, the event featured singing, dancing, and acting performances that showcased their love and appreciation for their parents’ sacrifices. Highlights included a special farewell for our 6 Years students, an inspiring award ceremony for academic excellence. This memorable day perfectly capped off 2024 and set the stage for an even more wonderful 2025.
Our Taekwondo Tournament showcased our dedicated students, who competed in 8 weight categories. Guided by expert coaches from Great Taekwondo Academy and Taekwondo Millenium Club, our Little Warriors demonstrated not only physical skill but also sportsmanship, discipline, and mental resilience. This exciting event, born from a successful collaboration with KPTM, underscores our commitment to fostering holistic growth—balancing strength with the values of respect and perseverance.
From being scared on their first day of school, we transform these students into confident young children who are able to stand in front of the crowd and speak in Malay, English and even a little of Arabic!
They are also comfortable interacting with friends and teachers alike, filling their classrooms with bubbling laughter as they enjoy a fun day of learning.
The Little Caliphs Program (TLCP) is an Islamic – English – Creative preschool program that helps children to realize their best spiritual, cognitive, socio-emotional and physical potential. Unlike other conventional preschool program, TLCP has a set of proven creative methodologies for teaching the children the meaningful foundation of Islam, learning and living skills in an integrative manner.
