Grand Ihtifal Class of 2024: Celebrating Success and Saying Goodbye

2024 has come and passed us by so quickly. We at Little Caliphs Kalam Khalifah were given the privilege to watch our bright princes and princesses grow from 4 to 6 years old until they finally graduated from our kindergartens. This year, we celebrated the Grand Ihtifal for the Class of 2024 at the Grand Riverview Hotel, Kota Bharu. In total, there were 226 students and 536 guests who came to make this Ihtifal an unforgettable day, especially for the Class of 2024.

Best Students’ Speeches

One of the best highlights during the Grand Ihtifal is the Best Students’ speeches given by our brightest students from nine Little Caliphs Kalam Khalifah branches. Their heartwarming speeches were filled with gratitude towards their parents who supported them throughout the years as well as their teachers who spent countless hours educating and empowering them. They successfully represented their peers and summarized their experience studying at Kalam Khalifah.

Student Performances

The parents were also entertained by the performances by some of our chosen students. The day was filled with the melodious nasyid performance by Kalam Khalifah Al-Qamar (LC Tunjong 2), the energetic dikir barat and the impressive Al-Mulk Hafazan by Kalam Khalifah Al-Hassan (LC Kubang Kerian 1), and the insightful public speeches by Kalam Khalifah An-Nur (LC Kubang Kerian 2). Furthermore, students from Kalam Integrated School of Excellence also made a guest appearance during the event to perform a choir.

Teacher Performances

Besides showcasing the talents of our students, we also took the opportunity to highlight the talents of our wonderful teachers through two amazing performances. The first one was a poetry (sajak) recitation by Teacher Latifah and Teacher Syafiqah, and the second performance was a sajak recitation by Teacher Aina and Teacher Alya. Both performances centered around the advice and hopes that all teachers have for their students who are now stepping into the new world of primary school education.

The Grand Ihtifal for the Class of 2024 was a bittersweet moment filled with pride and goodbyes. While we are very proud of our students for everything they have managed to achieve in such a short time, we will also miss having these wonderful faces in our classes. That being said, we wish only great things for them in the future.
